Couple looking for good food

Had a late lunch there after a walk, staff were amazing. The homemade touches like the pickled onions made the meal special.

It wasn't exactly cheap but still satisfactory.

Noise issues were a downside, particularly with street traffic and revelry from the bar below impacting sleep quality. Some essential amenities were lacking, including storage like cabinets for clothes, which made our stay feel less comfortable than it could have been.

You can't go wrong with their delicious full-English breakfast—an absolute gem! Plus, there's a cozy bar atmosphere to unwind after an adventure. The Marlborough really knows how to serve up a fab culinary experience.

Now, the noise from revellers and early morning deliveries can be a bit of a bother, but you still can't let that take away from the charm of this old inn.

Felt exceptional, nothing too much trouble.

our stay at the marlborough was delightful! the staff were super friendly and efficient. breakfast was tasty, although they could offer orange juice and maybe consider different bacon options. the towels in the bathroom were incredibly soft and fluffy, adding a nice touch. we also loved the charming pub nearby with its uneven floors and cozy feel!

Had a lovely stay, especially enjoying the spacious room with a super comfy bed and the delicious meals that had so many choices. The relaxation areas were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring, though a bit of outside noise seeped in at times. I'd recommend bringing earplugs if you're a light sleeper! 😊

Had a fab time in the deluxe double room. Super comfy bed and the bathroom was on point! We enjoyed breakfast and a couple of drinks at the bar, which were really nice. Just wished the Sunday roast had more flavor. it was kinda bland. Definitely a solid spot overall!

It was a reliable pick for a short stayover in Dedham with great value for the money. The breakfast had lots of cooked options, which was a nice surprise. Try to request a room away from the street for a quieter night.

I had a lovely stay with a brilliant modern room and exceptional bathroom. The roast dinner was probably the best I've ever had! I would definitely return again.
